Workers' compensation claims

WorkCover is Queensland’s workers’ compensation insurer. If you’re injured at work you may be eligible to make a workers’ compensation claim with WorkCoverIf your claim is accepted, WorkCover may be able to help cover treatment costs and may pay some of your wages if you’re off work recovering.

In Queensland, physiotherapy services are funded in line with WorkCover’s fee schedules and approval processes. Currently, this includes up to 5 pre-approved sessions (including the initial consultation). If additional treatment is required, your physiotherapist must submit a Provider Management Plan (PMP).
